Our Mind Growers Parent University curriculum is designed around the improvement cycle called praxis: ongoing action and reflection based on informed revisions. Our desired outcome is developing complex thinkers, inquirers, and collaborators to deepen learning for all stakeholders.
Our work is informed by Daniel Goleman's framework on Emotional Intelligence; Jim Collin's framework for going from Good to Great; Jane Nelsen's Positive Discipline framework based on the work of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs designed to teach young people to become self-reliant, responsible, respectful and resourceful; as well as Arthur Costa & Bena Kallick's Habits of Mind, which are intellectual behaviors that can produce great results in school and beyond.
